Lightning by: Dean Koontz
The Bear and the Nightingale by: Katherine Arden

I love UNDER A PAINTED SKY! Such a great adventure story. I’m also a big fan of Call the Midwife. I bought the books as an early Christmas present to myself 🙂 I can’t wait to read them.
Happy TTT!

the bear and the nightingale is on my reading list, the rest, I don’t know. I’m still disappointed by Eowyn Ivey’s ‘snow child’ but I may read ‘to the bright edge of the world’ because Ivey writes so beautifuly.
have a lovely day.

I would LOVE to read The Bear and the Nightingale soon. I am obsessed with Russia (it’s about Russia, right?), and this one sounds right up my alley. I love its wintery feel and its mysterious vibe. I am really excited about it. Great list!

Great list Andrea! The Radium Girls also made my TTT. Is Call the Midwife very similar to the first season of the show?

Yes, very similar! I read the books first and I was impressed with how closely the show followed them.
