I read “Mrs. Lincoln’s Dressmaker” by Jennifer Chiaverini. I hate to say this, but I looked forward to reading this for a long time now, and I was disappointed. It just didn’t live up to all the hype about it over the years for me. Oh well, at least I could tell my mom it wasn’t worth her time.
