My review of Northern Lights After the fact, I realized I cheated a little bit. The Northern Lights actually occur within the atmosphere, not outer space. But it was in good faith, and I think it sort of meets the spirit of the category, so I’m sticking with it. 🙂

I read Children of the Stars by Mario Escobar. It’s the story of young Jewish brothers escaping Paris, France during WWII. Not a bad book, but not the best I’ve read of the genre. It seemed too unrealistic, but I want to believe there were many French people helping Jews and others escape the Nazis.
